Nexus Contracts was built on an ethos of hard-work, professionalism and importantly, integrity. This is why we have introduced The Nexus 1% Club; a collection of charities and community groups that we believe strongly align with our ethos. We are proud to support these charities and have committed to donating an equal share of 1% of our net profit at the end of the financial year to each group in support of their goals. Each of our four directors has hand-picked a charity that means something to them and that they personally believe in, where each charity will receive 25% of the net 1% profits. PAPYRUS
PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide is the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people. Suicide is the biggest killer of people aged 35 and under in the UK. PAPYRUS was founded in 1997 by a group of bereaved parents, who had each lost children to suicide.

The Fishermen’s Mission
The Fishermen’s Mission is the only fishermen’s charity that provides emergency support alongside practical, financial, spiritual and emotional care to all fishermen, active or retired, and their families.

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a registered Scottish charity that provides palliative care and support for people living in South Glasgow and East Renfrewshire. All of their services for patients, their families and carers are free. They receive a percentage of our funding from the NHS but rely heavily on the people of Glasgow and beyond to raise the funds needed.

Children’s Hospice Association Scotland – Robin House
For thirty years, the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland has been offering a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions. This includes palliative care, family respite and support through hospices, homecare services and hospital presence. Robin House, in Balloch, is a ‘home from home’ for families. It has a range of facilities including a hydro pool, art room, den and large accessible garden and lots of areas for relaxing and fun. It also has quiet areas for reflection, bereavement support and care.
